InstallerNet Hires Bob Byrnes as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Wednesday, August 05, 2009 -- InstallerNet has hired Bob Byrnes as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Byrnes will provide strategic and tactical sales and marketing leadership, focusing on business development and branding, the company said. He will also be responsible for helping coordinate InstallerNet's recent acquisition of the Mobile Enhancement Retailers Association (MERA).

"Bob is a great addition to the InstallerNet team," said Tony Frangiosa, InstallerNet president and CEO. "He brings high-level management experience in marketing, which will help create greater recognition for the InstallerNet brand, and demonstrated strengths in driving new business, revenue and profits. We're excited to gain his expertise, particularly in the company's current growth mode."

With more than 20 years in the consumer electronics industry, Byrnes has succeeded in a variety of executive positions, notably serving as president and COO at NEC Technologies; president and CEO at 1414C, a subsidiary of PictureTel; president and CEO at A.T. Cross' pen computing group; executive vice president and general manager at Packard Bell; and director of personal computer marketing at IBM. He has a BSBA from Villanova University and a masters degree in business administration from Farleigh Dickinson University. He resides in Concord, Mass.
