InstallerNet Reports Five-Fold Growth in 2007

North Andover, Mass. (April 11, 2008) — To the employees at InstallerNet, the news following the company’s fiscal year closing came down to one thing—an extra paycheck.

InstallerNet, a privately held company, reported a sales increase of five times more than the previous year. Tony Frangiosa, InstallerNet CEO, added that the company also grew its gross profit margin, enabling it to invest more into new ventures.

The company’s primary growth came from sales of its InstallCard, which allows consumers who purchase items at online and non-installing retailers to pre-purchase install labor and have their product installed at more than 1,700 installation centers across the country. “The InstallCard is quickly becoming a recognized brand service with retailers such as Costco, Crutchfield, RadioShack, Target and Wal-Mart,” said Frangiosa. It is also offered directly from manufacturers such as Sony, Motorola, Parrot, Sirius and XM Satellite Radio.

Other growth factors included InstallerNet’s Commercial Sales division, which completed the installation of a security device on more than 25,000 school buses through its member installer partners. The device reminds bus drivers to check for sleeping children left on the bus, and protects against vandalism. “Not only did this project represent a new and important direction in the use of our installer network, but we were also very proud to be involved in such a worthwhile cause,” Frangiosa added.

As part of the company’s culture to celebrate its successes, InstallerNet employees were surprised to find an extra pay check this week as a bonus in the amount of their bi-weekly checks. This is in contrast to a national employment atmosphere in which more than 75,000 U.S. jobs have been lost each month since January.

“We had a great year,” Frangiosa said. We fully expect to continue growth in these areas of our business, in addition to focusing our installation efforts in home installation services.”
