Boston, MA (January 3, 2007) – InstallerNet, representing the largest network of professional consumer electronics installers in the US, has combined MobileToys products and services to support their business model delivering complete installation solutions for consumer electronics retailers, installers, and manufacturers.
InstallerNet originated as a division of MobileToys before spinning-off as a separate corporation in April of 2006 to provide installation services for retailers and manufacturers. Installation services are sold through a unique merchandising solution branded InstallCard, “installations to-go”. Similar to a gift-card, InstallCard allows non-installing retailer channels to offer professional installation services without having to hire and manage their own installers. Customers are able to schedule installation appointments online creating a work order for local certified InstallerNet installer members.
MobileToys has been providing installation related technology and content to the mobile electronics industry since 1989. Its industry leading software applications, TSS and MAID, provide technical information and business management resources for thousands of 12-volt installers. The company also delivers powered by web-based solutions for many manufacturers and retails such as JVC, Panasonic, Harman Kardon and Best Buy.
